Headquartered in Johnstown, Ohio and founded by Charles Cornell, who pioneered the process of chemically vulcanized tyre repair in North America, in 1939, TRC is the world's leading producer of tyre and tube repairs and wheel service solutions. During its 75 years of operation, TRC has remained a family-owned, privately held company, continually owned and managed by the Chambers family.
Today, Tech operates manufacturing facilities in the United States, Northern Ireland, China and India. In 1998, Tech purchased Truflex/Pang Rubber Company which exists today as a division of TRC.
In addition to being a leading manufacturer of tyre repair materials, Tech has built a reputation for delivering customer training under our 'Teach Each Customer How' philosophy.
TRC produces a full range of tyre repair materials including radial and bias repair units, plug-patch combination repairs, inserts, RFID tags, vulcanizing cements and related chemicals, uncured cushion gum, and extruded rubber. Tech's Pang Industrial Division produces industrial adhesives, belt repair and splicing materials, and sheet rubber for pulley-lagging and lining applications. Tech's manufactured items are complimented by a full line of tyre repair and wheel service products.
Tech markets more than 9000 products into over 110 countries throughout the world. The company is recognized as one of the top exporters in the United States and has received numerous export awards from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Ohio Department of Commerce, including the Presidential 'E-Star' award for exporting excellence.
